Help for shops

Everything you need to get the most out of Tu Ropero: how customers discover you, how to post news that gets seen, and how the money works. It is free and takes ten minutes to set up.

🚀Getting started

From zero to an active shop in four steps. You also have it as a checklist on your Dashboard.

1. Sign up and confirm your email

Fill in the sign-up form with the shop name, town and your email. We send you an email with a confirmation button: we cannot activate you until you press it.

2. Place the shop on the map

In My shop, type the street and the number in separate fields and press "Find on the map". If the pin is not exact, drag it to your door. This is the most important step: the app knows a customer is in your shop from that pin and the radius (40 m by default; large premises, 60-80).

3. Upload your logo and a cover photo

The logo (square) appears in the app next to your news and on the QR poster; the cover (landscape, shopfront or interior) heads your page. Without a logo, your initials are shown.

4. Wait for activation

We review every sign-up by hand within 24-48 hours and let you know by email. Meanwhile you can prepare news: it is not published until the shop is active.

📍How customers discover you

No campaigns, no asking people to follow you: the app does it on its own.

When they walk into your shop

When a customer with Tu Ropero opens the app inside your shop (location + radius), they see "You're at Your shop, add it to your shops?". If they have just signed up while in your premises, you are added straight away. Location is only used while the app is open and is never stored.

With the QR poster

Print the poster (A4 for the window, A5 for the counter or fitting room). Whoever scans it downloads the app and, opening it right there, follows you. If you have a logo, it appears on the poster.

Searching by name

In the app, Home → My shops → "See all" lets anyone search any partner shop by name or town and follow it from home.

When the AI suggests a purchase

If the app suggests to one of your followers a garment they are missing (say "a white shirt"), it shows them the button "See if your shop has it", which opens your page. That is traffic arriving with purchase intent.

🆕News

The heart of the programme: what has just arrived, on the phone of people who are already your customers. Managed under News.

What a post contains

A photo (or a YouTube video), a short title, optional text, the price (free text: "€49.95", "from €95", "-20%"…), a link to your website or Instagram if you like, and who it is for: everyone, women or men. The app only shows each person what fits them.

Where it appears

In the "My shops" card on your followers' Home screen, mixed with their other shops, and on your page. Tapping the photo enlarges it; tapping the link or video opens it.

Dates and expiry

You can schedule it for later and set an end date. By default it expires after 60 days, so what people see is always current. An expired post can be edited and republished.

Photo tips

One garment or one outfit, well lit, clean background, portrait format. A phone photo is fine. Three good posts a week beat twenty weak ones: your followers see every one.

🔔Alerting your followers

Besides appearing in the app, you can send a push notification.

How it works

In the news list, press "Alert my followers". They get a notification with your name and the post title; tapping it opens your page. Only people with alerts for your shop switched on, and notifications accepted on their phone, receive it.

Once every 7 days

So nobody gets fed up and unfollows, each shop can alert once every 7 days. Save it for the good stuff: the new season, a collection, a sale. If you press it and nobody has alerts on, the turn is not used up.

📊Statistics

Aggregate numbers, never people: Statistics.

What you measure

Followers (and how many are new in 30 days), visits detected in your shop (and how many different people), sign-ups made in your premises and, for each post, how many people saw it and how many tapped it.

Privacy

You never know who follows you or who saw what: the app shares no names, emails or phone numbers with the shop. That is what makes people comfortable following you.

💶Commissions

Being on Tu Ropero is free. On top of that, we pay you.

€1 for every Pro customer

Every time someone signs up to Tu Ropero while in your shop (or from your poster) and later buys the Pro version, we pay you €1. See it under Commissions: sign-ups in your shop, how many went Pro, pending and paid.

How you get paid

By bank transfer, every quarter. You only need to enter the account (holder and IBAN) once there is something to pay you; not before.

🏬Several shops or a chain

One account, all your premises.

How to register them

Sign up once and, from My shop, add the other premises. A "Premises" selector appears at the top to switch between them. Each one has its own map pin, poster, news and statistics; customers follow each one separately.

Shared news

If a post applies to the whole chain, publish it in each shop (it takes a minute): that way it reaches the followers of all of them.

⚙️Account

Under Account you change the email, password and panel language. To close your account, write to us and we delete the shop and its data.

❓Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Nothing. No sign-up fee, no subscription, no commission on what you sell. Quite the opposite: we pay you €1 for every customer of yours who goes Pro.

Will my customers buy elsewhere because of the app?

The app is not a marketplace: it does not compare prices or show other shops' catalogues. Your customer only sees the shops they themselves chose to follow, and the AI recommends "see if your shop has it" before anything else.

Why can't I see the "Alert my followers" button?

Either the shop is not active yet, or you already sent an alert in the last 7 days (next to the button we tell you when you can again), or that post already has an alert sent.

Can I put a "from" price or a discount?

Yes, the price is free text: "from €95", "-20%", "2 for 1"… or leave it empty.

The map search can't find my street

Type the street in one field and the number in the other, without "St." or "no.". If it still fails, search only for the town and drag the pin to your door: what counts is the pin, not the text.

What if I close or move?

Change the address and place the pin again under My shop. If you close, write to us and we remove the shop.

Can I see who follows me?

No, by design. You see how many and what they do in aggregate, never who.
